  • Observer APP

General Observers are deployed by the Election Commission of India in the election going states and ACs. However, establishing a two-way communication mechanism had been sporadic and informal.

Observer App allows the General observers, Police Observers and Expenditure observers to file their statutory report like their arrival, departure etc. Upon deployment to a constituency, the Observer gets the complete deployment schedule in their mobile. Similarly, all notices, constituency details are available on the observer app.

One of the important features of the app is the visibility of the cVIGIL cases directly on the observer app. The Observer can view all the cases and give his observatory remarks. This helps the Returning Officer in deciding the case.

Similarly, all the flying squad locations are visible on the mobile app. This an observer can find them on the map, click to see the work being performed, and finally call them directly without the need of separately approaching them.

The Observer app is available from the Google Play store here:

The application was launched on Mar 14, 2019

The features provided in Observer app enables the observer to -
