Subject: Guidelines for voting through postal ballot by Absentee Voters in the category of Senior citizens, PwDs and Covit-19 suspect or affected persons -regarding.

                 (ii) Letter No. 52/2020/SDR/vol.I dated 03.10.2020

 

Sir/Madam,

      I am directed to refer to the Commission’s letters mentioned above and to forward herewith the revised guidelines for voting through postal ballot by absentee voters in the category of senior citizens (above 80 years of age), persons with disability flagged in the electoral roll and Covid-19 suspect or affected persons, for compliance in all future elections.

2.  This may be brought to the notice of all District Election Officers, Returning Officers and other election authorities concerned and also to the State Units of recognized political parties and all registered unrecognized political parties based in your State/Union territory, for their information.
